Transformed from a fishing port to a summer retreat in the 1860s, Dinard is one of the best seaside resorts in Europe. The town is surrounded by huge summer mansions, with ivy-covered roofs, and huge bay windows overlooking the sea, which contrast with the ever increasing modern buildings.
The main beach is La Grande Plage, popluar with locals and tourists alike - be prepared for crowds on hot days.
